Eric currently lives in Southern Utah with his wife Stacey (17 years) and their four children. Eric loves to write, sing, read, workout, and of course, get thoughtful debates going on social media. However, he spends most of his free time in Facebook Jail thinking of ways to reoffend 😉

After High School, Eric tried to serve an LDS mission but came home early due to depression. During that time, he found refuge through music which helped pull him out of a deep depression to save his life. He entered a contest called Nashville Star and became a Utah regional finalist which led to being signed by Evander Holyfield (the boxer) to his record label. For four years he traveled from Utah to Nashville and even opened up for Country Music Hall of Fame artist Collin Raye.

It was then Eric met and married his wife and embarked on a major career change becoming a Salt Lake City Police Officer. He loved the job but quickly started being outspoken about disturbing practices (quotas) and discrimination within the department. In the end, Eric lost his badge and gun when, for religious reasons, he asked to trade into a security assignment instead of being in the celebration of the Utah Pride Parade for the LGBT community. When the story made national news, Eric decided to resign from the department and go into the private sector. Once the dust settled a little, Eric decided to write his story in a book called Dispatched – Conscience or Conformity

In 2020 Eric received a call from one of his friends still on the Salt Lake City Police Department, who advised him SLC had set up a “snitch line” for people who were not social distancing. Police would actually respond to those calls. This fired him up and Eric decided to call the number and turn himself in for a rally they were about to hold.

Eric then created the group, Utah Revival which focuses on helping small businesses and standing up for individual God given rights. The group started out doing protests against the very unconstitutional mandates, and eventually put on the first music concert in America with non other than Collin Raye himself. The Utah Revival now has over 35,000 members. Eric helped create the Documentary Non- Essential which highlights what We the People are capable of if we can stand together for Liberty. In late 2020 Eric became the Salt Lake Tribune Readers Choice for Utahn of the Year.

Eric is now a small business owner and created Freedom Blends, a supplement company based on the principles of Freedom and Liberty. Some of the products include, First Amendment Multivitamins, Pro-Life Protein, Commie Cleanse, Sleep Off Socialism, and their flagship #1 product, Freedom Fuel.

Eric also loves to speak to groups around the country about Freedom, Liberty, and the Constitution. If you are interested in having Eric come out to your group of any kind, please feel free to contact him here, or email him @ americanmoutsos@gmail.com

“I love to watch people light up by feeling the spirit of Liberty (2 Cor 3:17). God wants us to be free. He created us to be free. He established America for just that. And if we don’t continue to gather and promote these universal principles, we will lose it all over again. My hope and goal is to not let that happen.”
